β Before You Start
Make sure youβre aware of the following:
-
Only the account owner or authorized user can initiate the connection from within ResNexus.
-
No API credentials are needed β ResNexus handles authentication through a secure, one-click connection.
-
Pricepoint does not receive or store guest personal or payment data.
-
Packaged and complimentary reservations are not included via API and will not appear in Pricepoint analytics.
π Step 1: Connect to Pricepoint in ResNexus
-
Log in to your ResNexus back office.
-
Go to Settings > Integrations Marketplace.
-
Under the Revenue Management category, find Pricepoint.
-
Click Learn More, then click Connect.
-
On the registration screen, click Register.
π© This action will automatically trigger an email to Pricepoint containing your hotel ID (also called Business ID).
β Once received, a member of the Pricepoint team will contact you directly to complete the setup and begin syncing data.
ποΈ Step 2: Create Groups for Your Units
After connecting, youβll be redirected to the Groups configuration screen. Pricepoint uses these groups to determine how rates are applied to your rooms.
-
On the Groups page, click Create Group.
-
Enter a Group Name (e.g., "Queen Rooms").
-
Select the units to include in this group.
-
β Only include units that should share the same pricing.
-
β Do not group units with different rates or occupancy rules.
-
-
If the group includes more than one unit, select a Master Unit (this controls pricing for all units in the group).
-
Click Save.
π Important:
-
You must group units after connecting for Pricepoint to begin managing rates.
-
Grouping ensures rate updates are applied accurately across similar units.
-
If you skip this step, Pricepoint will not be able to send pricing to your listings.
